- Indications for Use.

- Posology and Administration
Fenofibrate is to be administered orally in adults 0,1 g each (100 mg) 2 times a day before or during meal: 0,02 g (2 capsules) during breakfast, 0,01 g (1 capsule) during dinner.
- Counterindications
Hypersensitivity. Compromised liver function, including biliary cirrhosis, calculous cholecystitis, severe renal failure, alcoholism, pregnancy, breastfeeding.

In a long-term use of Fenofibrate intrahepatic cholestasis may develop (biliary engorgement), and cholesiasis may be aggravated. In Fenofibrate use there were registered formation of stones in gall bladder and biliary tracts.

The use of Fenofibrate is counterindicated in pregnancy; during the treatment it is recommended to stop breastfeeding.
